==Classic Short Ugg Boots==
After having several dozen pairs of cheap Ugg boot fakes I decided to bite the bullet and dig deep into my over draft in order to afford a proper pair. I rationalised this extravagant spend with the thought that with all the cheap fake Ugg boots I have bought so far I probably could have afforded a pair of real Ugg's that would have lasted me far longer than all the fakes put together.
With all the worry about buying something like this online and ending up getting a fake pair I decided to order through a catalogue and although his may have been slightly more expensive than other places with a new customer discount of £25 the total wasn't so crazily high.
At the catalogue price of £195 and me paying only £170 these are without doubt the most expensive shoes/boots/ trainers or indeed any footwear that I have ever bought myself or owned. These classic short Ugg boots are slightly cheaper than the tall ones but I wanted the shorter ones so that I knew I wouldn't have to squeeze my rather chunky calves into the taller pair and be uncomfortable.
Plus I had previously owned a short pair of fake Uggs and was sure that if I were to order the same colour and boot length that Himself wouldn't realised that I had indeed bought myself a pair of the real deals.
When the boots came in their lovely brown cardboard box with all the correct certificates and information I was so keen to get them on and keep them on that I don't think I have taken them off that much since January. That said when the warmer weather hit in May I did have to dig out the flip flops and put the Ugg's safely away in the cupboard.
I was not surprised at how comfortable these Ugg boots were and how surprisingly durable too. Cheaper Ugg's don't have the sheepskin lining that the real ones do and not only does it make them really snug and warm but also allows the feet to breath and not get sweaty or uncomfortable. Within the first few days of wearing them in and out of the house I did manage to spill a rather ridiculous amount of things on them but with a little clean with a damp cloth they have come up really well and no stains are noticeable.
I have worn them in the rain for short periods of time and although not ideal wet weather footwear there was no real leaking through to my feet like my fake Ugg boots would have done. The main factor in wearing a real pair of Ugg boots is in fact that they don't buckle around the heal and they keep their boot like shape. It drives me crazy when I see young girls trying to walk in fake Ugg's that have quite clearly seen better days and are probably doing their feet some damage. I must say that even when I bought the fake Ugg boots I would always make sure to buy a smaller size and wear two pairs of socks so that the boots were snug and didn't buckle at the heal. However with a proper pair of Ugg boots this isn't necessary and they actually advise you not to wear any socks whilst wearing your Uggs.
I love my boots and the grey colour is really the best for me. It matches with a lot of my clothes and I can even get away with wearing them to the office. I have nothing but good things to say about them and although they are pretty expensive I think for the amount of wear I am getting out of them and how long they are lasting they are well worth the "investment".
A top score of 5 out of 5 stars and a very high recommendation!
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you.
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
Summary: worth the investment
