A sceptic almost converts: there is true quality in true Uggs (Ugg Boots)

Advantages: Light, warm, flex with your feet as you walk - walking on air?

Disadvantages: You're going to look like everyone else: a winter stereotype

I have really really held back from Uggs. I don't know whether it's because everyone's wearing them or just because they are 'uggly'! But I have recently been tempted by their 'Cardi Ugg' (in the picture).

I am a sceptic, even a detractor of Uggs...

But, I went to the shops to try it and I was AMAZED!

I was almosted shocked when I tried them - I'm not joking.

Seriously comfy, the sole is super-flexible and I felt I could walk for miles in them (although, of course, that isn't what I did in the shop). My initial purusal of the boots tells me they really are high-quality and as one reviewer told us, it probably isn't worth buying the imitations, if you're buying an Ugg you are buying the quality not the looks!

The sheepskin lining is some of the best out there... I'm practically a convert... but I'm still holding back... I'm still shocked!

That is my initial, first-hand, yet brief, experience of Uggs.

I may be tempted...

Question: are they worn with or without socks?

As for the price, I do believe quality needs to be paid for. And as I've said, my initial reaction was to be blown away.

Summary: If you don't like them, don't try them... you may just convert!
