These slippers make cosy nights in more appealing

As a Christmas present from my boyfriend I received a pair of these Ugg Coquette slippers that I had been lusting after for a while. These slippers cost £100 and although this is very expensive for a pair of slippers, as they are high quality and quite luxurious I hope that they will last me for at least a few years.

These slippers are available in 3 colours: chocolate, chestnut and sand. I chose the chestnut colour as this is my preferred colour in all of Ugg products. The chocolate is a dark brown, the chestnut is a medium brown/tan shade and the sand is a light brown/beige colour.

The outside of these slippers is made from suede and the inside of the slippers is lined with sheepskin. In the chestnut slippers, the sheepskin inside is white/cream in colour. There is a seam down the front of the slipper and a "Ugg" badge on the front - this is quite discreet as it is the same colour as the slipper. These are a slip on style slipper with no back on the heel part, which is my preferred style of slipper as I like to be able to kick my shoes off and slide into my slippers with minimal effort. The sole of these slippers is made from EVA. The sole is quite thick and has a good grip, meaning these slippers are almost as hard wearing as many shoes, but a lot comfier. I have on occasion nipped outside in these slippers (which I am trying to avoid doing) and the slippers are easy to walk in even on cold, wet outside ground.

The inside of the slipper feels gorgeous when you slide your feet in - it is cosy, soft and warm. I prefer to wear my slippers with socks to keep them clean and make them last longer, however these slippers feel just divine on bare feet. The slippers do not rub on my feet and my feet do not sweat when inside these. In the past with previous slippers I have noticed after a couple of wears the fluffy inside becomes flattened and matter, but with these Ugg slippers this is not the case. I can honestly say that even though I have worn these everyday since Christmas, the sheepskin is still fluffy and as it was when they were brand new.

As I try not to wear these slippers outside, they have stayed clean, however I imagine if the time comes that they become a little bit grubby that they can be cleaned with suede cleaner, which is what I use on my Ugg boots. I think these slippers look cute and I always look forward to putting them on after a hard days work.

As mentioned above, from the official Ugg Australia website these slippers cost £100. They can be found cheaper on other websites such as eBay and the like, but I avoid buying Ugg products on such sites as I am always afraid they will be "off the back of a lorry" or fake. I love these slippers and they were really nice to receive as a gift, but as they are a little expensive I am going to take 1 star off and give them a rating of 4*. Thanks for reading/rating and I hope you found my review useful.

I would marry them if I could!

If I could marry my Ugg Coquette slippers then I would! They are warm, dependable, comforting........seriously, what's not to love? I have other Ugg footwear and have been a fan since I tried my first pair on, but my slippers have a special place in my heart and I can't imagine ever being parted from them(!), in sickness and in health they will be my constant companion! The only downside of my furry little companions is that they are not cheap (nothing about Ugg is cheap!) and so a pair of these is going to set you back a lot more than you would normally spend on a pair of slippers. I spent £64.99 on these slippers direct from the Ugg shop in Covent Garden and I did think it was a lot to pay - but love found a way and they ended up in my shopping bag!

These slippers are made in the style of a slip-on clog in as much as they don't have a back to them but they do have a substantial front part to the slipper and also a substantial sole. The outside of the slippers are made of suede and come in either black or tan. I have the tan ones just because I think that this is more in keeping with a snuggly slipper - but the black ones are equally nice and so it really is just a matter of personal preference.

As most Ugg footwear, these slippers are wide and so they fit very comfortably on the feet as there is no restriction or containment. The inside of the slippers are lined with high quality sheepskin which allows my feet to just sink into the furry lining and feel like they are being pampered and cared for. The sheepskin is very soft and silky and just feels wonderful, even against bare skin. As with all Uggs, the sheepskin lining does cleverly keep my feet beautifully warm in winter but also still allows my feet to feel cool in summer (I don't really know why this works, but it does).

These slipppers do, as I've mentioned, have a pretty substantial sole to them, but the sole is soft and my feet just sink into them also. They are lightweight and although wide, do not feel clunky or like I'm walking around with boats on my feet.

I've had these slippers for the past 7 months and they are still in really good condition and like new really. The only thing I would say is that they have got more comfortable as time has gone on because it feels like they have actually moulded to my feet and so now it feels as if they were especially designed just for me. I think they are just wonderful.

        My review

Some people hate ugg boots recon they are ugly but I love ugg boots and have four pairs off them, been collecting them for two years now. Naturally on mothers day my partner took the girls out to buy mummy a special gift for this occasion normally I get a piece of jewellery and designer perfume but this year I got ugg coquette slippers.
As my girls handed over the gift on mothers day i was thrilled to see the ugg box.

Ugg coquette slippers cost from £50 - £95 depending on where you buy them. I know my slippers cost £55 because my partner told me they were on sale from a shop called schuh in aberdeen. Schuh is a genuine stockist for ugg australia products, i like to check that the shops are recommended retailers of uggs from uggs, i am paranoid about fake uggs seen so many online.

I have only seen the ugg coquette slippers in two colours, tan with cream sheep skin lining or chocolate brown with brown sheep skin lining. I got the tan ones, these come in a lovely cardboard box with ugg australia on the box, there is also a small hologram tag on the box.

Ugg coquette slippers have thick foam soles a bit like the boots. The soles also have some tread on them.
The outside off the slippers are made from sheep skin too and feel like a soft suede or velvet feel however it is 100% sheep skin. There is a small logo on the front of the slippers just saying ugg australia dont know white because the badge is the same colour as the slippers and cant be seen unless looking closely at my slippers. The most important part of the ugg coquette slippers is the sheep skin lining inside the slippers. The sheep skin lining is cream in colour , super soft and fluffy, its a dream to walk on with my bare feet inside.

Ugg coquette slippers are very easy to walk in, they are slip on and have no back to keep the foot in but i have had no problem with them slipping off. The tead is also good and found i do not slip all over the laminate flooring like i have in other slippers.
Ugg coquette slippers will be great for winter when its really cold.

As for me i love how comfy the slippers are and i'm please iv got them however these have got to be one of the ugliest product ugg have ever made.
I would not say the slippers look cute or nice but its the comfort that matters but i am more than sure there are cheaper slippers that look alot better than these and just as comfy.

Recommend but with three dooyoo stars, uggggly slippers at a high price.

          Your feet deserve them.

I like slippers. I like that feeling of coming home after a long day and swapping my shoes for a pair of slippers, probably partly for what it signifies as well as for the comfort. I know this because I still like putting on slippers even if they are a bit of a rubbish pair that slop about and keep falling off.
So, a wonderful pair of slippers that look and feel luxurious, coupled with the psychology of putting slippers on? Pure, unadulterated bliss! (Well not quite, but as close to being that as putting on a pair of slippers can get anyway).

I had generally bought M&S slippers or suchlike. I even splashed out on the 'Secret Support' ones too sometimes (I have no idea why this would be a secret - it is merely an instep support built in to the slippers so why on earth it would need to be a secret I really don't know. But I digress...) and they really were very nice and did the job fine. But, until I was bought a pair of Ugg slippers (and believe me, at this price they would have to be a gift) I did not realise just how great the whole 'slipper experience' could be.

My Uggs are the 'Coquette' which are slightly different to some of the others in that they have quite a thick sole. It is made from EVA which is dense but has give, so it appears hard but actually you can press your finger into it if you press quite hard. It is probably about 1/2" thick at the ball of the foot, increasing to maybe 3/4" at the heel. The sole has quite chunky treads on it, which you can't really see from the picture. So, (and prepare yourselves for the fantastic pun here), these 'slippers' are not at all 'slippy'!

This thick and rugged sole does not detract one bit from the comfort for me and has the added bonus that I can keep them on when I want to pad into the garden or outdoors for any reason (why is it as soon as you put your slippers on there is almost immediately a need to go outdoors for something anyway?), without fear of the slippers getting damaged, or wet seeping in via the sole.

They are sheepskin lined with a sheepskin cuff. This means that when I put them on, my feet immediately say 'thank you' (and also they often add 'I should blinking well thing so too, after what you've put us through today'). I had thought maybe they'd be a bit hot for summer use but I have used them all year round and never felt too hot. The inner sole is shaped to support your feet so I find walking about in them extremely comfortable - a lot better than the cheap, totally flat slippers I often used to wear. These really are the sort of slippers that you put on and go 'MMmmmm'.

The outer upper is made from suede with a seam detail down the front and a self-coloured Ugg badge at the top. Mine are actually a different colour from the picture above - they are a deep beige colour with the sheepskin being a natural cream colour which I prefer to the colour in the picture.

I left the price til last on purpose. Ahem. They cost around £65.
(I'll let you take a moment to let this sink in)

Yes, I know this is unbelievably expensive for a pair of slippers, but I look at it this way:
I wear my slippers almost every single day of the year. My feet NEED them. I've had these slippers for well over a year now and they are still going strong and as comfortable as the day I got them. How many pairs of shoes would you pay that price for and be able to wear for a few hours every single day without them giving somewhere, or wearing thin? Not many I would reckon. And anyway, my feet deserve them.

The only thing I haven't done yet is wash them. Ugg say they should be washed carefully by hand with some 'Ugg' product or other. Some people say they have put theirs in the washing machine and they came out fine. I wouldn't dare! I will get round to washing them eventually I suppose but they are slippers - they don't get very dirty anyway.

Ugg slippers. Because my feet are worth it.
