I have quite delicate skin on my hands and something I hate is having to put shoes on, by tying the laces, and when I slide my foot in the shoe helping myself with my fingers, I always end up with really dry and irritated skin. For this reason and the cool vans design I figured these shoes were perfect for me.

I know they are made mostly for skaters because of the sole, but I just wanted the easy to put on functionality and when I tried them on in the shop, I confirmed even more that they were the ones. They are incredibly comfortable, nothing like those canvas shoes with really thin soles that sometimes make you think you are walking bare foot. Instaed, the Vans have a thick and sturdy sole (almost indestructible, by the way) that make you feel like you are walking on clouds.

The design is quite classic and no flashy at all, I love the Vans symbol on the back. I wear them a lot with jeans for casual occasions like going to uni or to do the shopping. They fit really well and your steps will feel steady and not wobbly at all.

Ever since I bought these shoes I just cannot be bothered to wear ones with laces, it takes so long and if you want to go out quickly to the shop, you will be ready to go in a blink of an eye.

I have had them for 4 years already and even if they do not look as good as new anymore, they are still useful. Something that really surprises me is that the sole is not that wasted, even if I sometimes walk dragging my feet a bit.
