Vans make an awesome amount of trainers, and one of the many pairs I own is called the Pomona Skateboarding shoes (or trainers to the rest of us) These are one of the more colourful and bright pairs of trainers made by Vans, and as soon as I saw them, I fell in love with them. The colours really caught my eye, and the price I got them for was a total bargain as well. These trainers are white, blue and pink, and I really think they are lovely looking trainers. Blue is the main colour on the trainers, and this is a medium colour blue, which is quite pretty and sets off nicely against the pink and the white. The laces supplied in the trainers are white, but there is also a pink set which comes supplied in the shoe box. The Vans logo is printed in white on the top of the tongue, and there is a very small Vans label attacthed to the side of the shoe. There is air holes in the side of the trainer, which helps to keep your feet at a great temperature during the summer. The sole inside the trainer is slightly padded, which I have found to be very comfortable and also adds a little bit of support to the trainers. The bottom of the sole is ridged and this provides great grip, and I believe it has saved me from falling over many a time in life. The trainers tie up nice and tightly, so my foot feels snug and secure inside the trainer, but not so tight that I no longer have feeling in my toes. I also find there to be the perfect amount of room in the trainer for my foot to feel comfortable, but not slopping around or constricted, as some trainers can make you feel. The back part at the ankle/heel area, has a nice comfy layering so that even when brand new, these will not cut up the back of your ankle. I have had this many a time with new trainers, and it is a horrible thing and I am very happy to report that this does not happen with these Vans trainers. I can also happily say, I have never had painful feet when wearing these, even after a days shopping or a full day on my feet at work. If you have a job which requires you to be on your feet and you are allowed to wear trainers, I totally recommend these. I also used to go jogging in these (before the knee injury) and I have found them to be the perfect pair of trainers. They keep my feet at a great level of comfort and temperature whilst I jog. They have brilliant to wear in most sports I have played. The colours on these trainers do mean you have to be careful what outfit you choose to wear with them, if you are not careful you can end up with a clashing situation on your hands, but I do find that these go great with a large number of outfits, they are like the perfect accessories! They are easy to clean too, just wipe them over, or if they get really mucky, they are good to go in a cool wash in the washing machine, just pop them into a pillow case first. I bought my pair of these from Amazon.co.uk and I think they can still be found on there. Chances are they are available in some sports stores, on the Vans website and maybe even on eBay for a great price. I paid just under £30 for mine, which is a brilliant value to me, as I still have these over a year later and they are still as great as the day I got them. They are available in sizes 3 - 8 ( maybe 9 - 10 in some stores ) I 100% recommend these trainers, as they comfortable, stylish, inexpensive and will last a long time. 5 stars out of 5 from me.
