Advantages: excellent range of eateries

Disadvantages: could have more homeware shops

Since Cabot circus opened I have been there almost religiously every weekend. I'm not sure if this is because I need things or because I just like the atmosphere.

The centre is almost totally covered by a vast glass roof. This doesn't only look great but protects you from the elements and seems to have ridden of the pigeons that seem to flood bristol. There is such a large range of shops, something for everybody and there are few things you can't find there. Whatever you can't find is only a stone's throw away in the centre of broadmead, so it's not really an issue.

The range of food outlets on the top floor also add to a nice day out and there is something to suit a range of budgets and tastes. In addition to this there is a deluxe cinema where you can even have ice cream sundaes ordered to you seat while you watch! This is called the Director's lounge and I highly recommend it!

Once you've decided a trip is in order for you, it's really very easy to get to. Just off the M32, or you can come by train and you can reach cabot from the temple meads station by bus, taxi or even boat!!

Summary: an excellent day out

I still think they should have had a Selfridge's!
