HARRODS I don’t particularly like London, too many people and too busy and I absolutely hate the underground, but I do love to visit Harrods, which is why I always try and pay a visit there around this time of year. CHRISTMAS PUDDING Why? Because Harrod’s make the best ever Christmas puddings and they are not extortionately expensive either, last visit I paid around 15 quid for a large pud, which considering it came from the UK’s most expensive store is not too bad. My mum and dad always used to take me to Harrods as a child. It was a Christmas tradition that my dad would take me a few days before the holiday to buy mum's presents. We'd make a whole day of it starting at the top, working down, spending an hour in the Toy Kingdom, having lunch at the Terrace Bar. It just made the season. Now I'm older and out on my own if I ever feel glum I get my glad rags on and jump on the tube to Knightsbridge. The place not only for shopping but for just totally lifting your mood. The staff are always polite and smiling, there's the chance to see celebrities and you really can get absolutley anything here. ...
