Advantages: Hardwearing, comfortable
I bought my Kickers after looking around for a pair of boots for ages. I tried Doc Martens, but I have very narrow feet, and they were like boats when I tried them on. I used to get monkey boots all the time, and for years I didn't wear any other footwear than monkey boots or baseball boots. Unfortunately there don't seem to be any monkey boots around anymore, whcih is a shame, because you could get them for between £10 and £15, and they were comfy and hard wearing. I then tried on a pair of Kickers. They ar eblack lace up ankle boots, very similsr in style to monkey boots, but a lot more expensive. Expensive or not, they fit perfectly, although I don't know how any one with out very narrow feet would get into them. I bought them, and they are still going strong several years later.
