A guy I know owns a Kickers shop and he was telling me that the Kickers nowadays are all made in a different country to the originals. I owned a red pair and a grey pair in the rave days of 89-90 and mine never wore out. My son now wears them for secondary school and we have bought him about five pairs over 3 years . His new pair have just arrived as the last pair only lasted 6 months and the stitching on the right front of the boot went completely. Kickers need to sort this out and start making them like they used to do. They are not cheap by any means and should last for a long time.

We bought a pair of your Kickers shoes for our son who desperately wanted a pair. They looked like reasonable quality but 6 months later the soles are completely worn out, 3 of the eyelets have fallen out of one shoe and the leather has come completely away from the sole in 2 places. If these were a cheap pair of disposable shoes then I'd still be annoyed but at least I'd understand. Instead these shoes cost us over £50 and I'm simply astounded. The lad only walks to the train station each day and this has never happened with any other pair of shoes we've ever bought him. Very disappointed.Mike

I believed that Kickers had a reputation for being comfortable and hard wearing and so bought a pair in May 2011.Comfortable they were, but within three months the sole stitching had failed.I returned them to the shop and was given a replacement pair. These lasted four months before the sole stitching gave way.Back to the shop again. The next pair managed six months before the same fault occurred and this time I returned them to Kickers HQ in London.I recieved an apologetic letter and yet another replacement pair which, guess what? Failed. The sole stiching gave out.At this moment I am waiting for a new pair from Kickers UK,hopefully to be delivered in September. P.S. I am a fifty year old bloke and I look after my shoes,I think Kickers could try a bit harder to make a shoe that lasts.

I have been trying to order a pair of shoes via the website this week which show in stock but once you complete all the forms (takes a while) you get a nice note saying out of stock & cannot complete. So I called them and it turns out they are having technical issues on the website which has been going on for a while. As a loyal costumer i asked when this is will be resolved - the answer was a "That's headoffice problem, we have no idea - could be days a week or longer". They are aware of the issue but have not even bothered to post a message on their website which is a very unproffesional approach and costumer service have an "not MY problem" answer ready.Very dissapointed in Kickers costumer service !

I have a 12 year old boy and have brought Kickers for him as school shoes, as they are best known for being hard wearing and ideal to all parents as sensible shoes. When my son attended Primary shcool he played football twice a day, nearly every day and the kickers did seem to last the test of time, however this August I brought a new ...  Read the complete review

As im from Manchester myself I remember when Kickers were first introduced and noticed on the market in the late Eighties and Early nineties . I loved and still do Ian Brown and the stone roses I used to attend The Haçienda and trainers were not allowed to be worn that this guy wore them . So being a fan I begged my mum ...  Read the complete review

I started wearing Kickers shoes when I was a teenager. I have to say I was influenced by the fact they were the in-thing at the time, but the shoes I 'encouraged' my parents to get for me were stylish and hard-wearing. I like to buy smart shoes that are also a bit different and have a good style as well as functionality, so I currently ...  Read the complete review

At school the only shows I ever wore were Kickers so I must have made my way through at least ten to fifteen pairs throughout my life. About 6 or 7 years ago I also had a few of their jumpers and a rucksack which I used for college but seeing as my main experience of Kickers is with thier footwear, that it what I will base this review ...  Read the complete review

Bought my 9 year old boy a pair of Kickers for school, payed £44. Thought it was false economy buying cheaper shoes as Kickers had a reputation of being rock solid. After 2 months half of the sole came away, having long since discarded the reciept, figuring it was a design fault sent the pair of shoes back to the manufacturer. I sent the ...  Read the complete review

I'm on my fourth pair now, and for smart but not flashy shoes I wouldn't buy anything else. Kickers are a French brand who make both smart-casual shoes and casual ones, as well as making other clothes and fashion accessories. You can get them in shops like River Island, and also in sports shops. My first pair ...  Read the complete review

Sorry, I’m afraid I just couldn’t resist having a moan here! About four months ago I brought a pair of black kickers shoes for seventy pounds. I never buy anything else but kickers. About 6 years ago I treated myself to a pair of kicker slip ons they were £65.00. They were so comfortable it is untrue. I wore them everyday!! I have xtra wide feet and sensitive skin on my ankles, in all honesty, Kickers are the only shoes which I have found to be 10/10 on comfort, range and styles. They've even recently come out with several new styles which are 15 pounds cheaper than their ...  Read the complete review

Kickers style now a days is getting old. Everything goes out of fashion, but, this Kickers has taken it too far. They are still selling the old green and red tags on their shoes when the fashion has changed. I bought my Kickers after looking around for a pair of boots for ages. I tried Doc Martens, but I have very narrow feet, and they were like boats when I tried them on.
