Liverpool ONE is lovely.

Advantages: Caters for everyone, plemty of restaurants and shops!
Disadvantages: Not under cover!
Liverpool ONE is a huge 1.65 million sq ft of shopping and leisure, which includes 160 shops, more than 20 bars and restaurants, a fantastic 14 screen cinema and a 5 acre park. Liverpool ONE is very easy to get to, there is a bus station there and a car park (which is very expensive) and it is easy to walk to from Liverpool Central station and Liverpool Lime Street.
There is a wide variety of shops and services that caters for absolutely everyone at Liverpool ONE. The only downfall being that the shops aren't under cover so you have to make sure you bring an umbrella on a cloudy day! Some of the stores include menswear such as All Saints, Jack Jones, Zara etc. Womenswear stores include New Look, H&M, Lipsy and Warehouse and plenty more. Liverpool ONE also caters for children including stores such as Build-a-Bear Factory, Disney Store and Pumpkin Patch. There is even a crazy golf now as you go up the escalators to the restaurants which is suitable for children and adults! Or why not shop for everyone at the two leading department stores John Lewis and Debenhams! Not only does Liverpool ONE have clothes shops, but there are also shops that men can have a wander off too if they can't be bothered shopping with their partners such as Game and HMV to browse or buy one of the latest DVD or a game, the Apple Store if you want to have a play on the latest gadgets, Waterstone's or WH Smith for books or stationary and Habitat for homewear. There are plenty of phone stores including Orange, o2 and 3. Liverpool ONE also offer jewellery stores such as H M Samuel and the latest fashion must have Pandora. Cafe's and coffee shops are always nearby including the famous Starbucks or Costa, there's also Cafe Nero not far away.
When you have done all your shopping, you can take the escalators to the top floor of Liverpool ONE where there are lots of restaurants to choose from. Being from Liverpool myself I come to Liverpool ONE every weekend with my boyfriend and we are always spoilt for choice when we are picking someone to go for our tea! Our favourite is Nandos and then we always pop into the Odeon to watch the most recent films. Other restaurants in Liverpool ONE include Pizza Hut, YO! Sushi, Pizza Express, Cafe Rouge (which is another favourite of mine), Zizzi, Pesto, Yee Rah, Red Hot Buffet, Las Iguanas (which offer really nice cocktails) and just a few more. Just across the walk ways is Chavasse Park, there is always events and things going on around Christmas and the Summer here including rides and even a beach fitted with a bar and a little pool!
I do all my shopping in Liverpool ONE and after visiting the likes of Manchester City Centre and the Trafford Centre which is a few miles away, I would still say the Liverpool ONE is the best.
Summary: For a lovely day out go to Liverpool ONE
