I have to agree with the others regarding M&S online shopping. They have always been so reliable for me recent years but this last week they let me down.

Ordered Wine Rose and Chocolate basket for my dear Mum. Elected delivery on Sat 14th - order placed on 11th. Email received on Saturday (day of delivery) telling me it "might" be late!

Two days later another email telling me it wouldn't be happening at all - Great! I also received another telling me that messaging was messed up and that all three gifts I'd ordered for different people and occasions would now go out with the same message intended for one of those individuals - very bad and could be quite embarrassing for someone.

The worst part is that the item is still available to purchase on their web site - they haven't bothered ot flag it to warn others. This is the single most ridiculous part about the whole thing! At least let the public know they can't have that item! They told me via email, why not tell the shopper BEFORE they try to purchase and end up disappointed like I did? Shame on you M&S!

On complaining to them, I hear nothing and it's been several days now. This is why I'm posting on the net. I left a review for the item (which they vet before it will appear on the site), so I doubt that will make an appearance either based on the lack of response to me personally!

M&S got a lot of business from me over the years and I always felt them worth the extra expense - the peace of mind and quality of goods and service made it well worth it, and was actually good value for money. However; I think I will have a difficult time trusting them again - especially in light of the way they've seemingly totally ignored me! :(
