Advantages: So many shops, free play areas for kids

Disadvantages: Parking your car can be difficult

I usually only visit Merry Hill once a year now that the Bullring has opened in Birmingham, I used to visit once a month before. I do tend to be a bit of a lazy shopper at times and like places like this where everything is in the same place and you havent got to go to more than one place to get what you need.

Last time I visited it was mid week so it was not too busy and I managed to park with no trouble at all - I tend to go past Sainsburys and head for the next car park along.

Has free cars for kids and a free playarea which does break up the day for them!

Plenty of shops here and have never left without getting what I have gone for. My next visit will be nearer to Christmas and as tempted as I will be to go to the winter sales this year I learnt from the last time I tried to do that! I was in a queue of cars for over an hour to get onto the car park and it was so packed I did not enjoy it at all!

Summary: I have always found everything I wanted from shopping here, worth a regular visit

Merry Hill is great, especially with fairly late opening hours. With the car park queues, did you try the overflow at the debenhams entrance rather than by the bus station? The car parks by there always have the longest queues!
