Advantages: Alot of shops and variety Disadvantages: Can get a bit packed
A lovely ditty of a shopping centre just outside of Birmingham. It's the best thing Dudley has to offer in the way of shopping, with about a thousand shops under one massive roof. And a market. There is a range of Poundland to Morgan, cafe's in the middle of areas and quite comfortable sofas littered around where you can gaze at mini fountains as your calculate your change and have a rest. In the whole complex, there is about 3 McDonalds, 1 Burgerking and a few other restaurents in the main part. On the top of the hill is a Frankie and Benny's (a nice Italian and American resteraunt), a McDonalds, a huge sports retailer, a sofa shop and more, including a Mothercare. Throughtout the area there is something to cater your every need. It's Dudley's Bullring, while that offers alot of competition, Merry Hill can be as popular as ever. Very popular. Maybe a little too popular, because it can very packed, especially at Christmas. You can do all your Christmas shopping and be calustrophobic at the same time, which isn't very enjoyable. But it's not too scrubby for Dudley. When you consider that just past Merry Hill (but owned by the brothers) is a business park with state of the art modern.. stuff. And flashy clubs. Marry Hill is the best thing Dudley has provided, with constant competion from the neighbouring city of Birmingham (only 10 miles away). Summary: |
