For anyone that hasn't visited Bristol for a shopping trip, jump on the next bus, plane, train car heading this way. When I recently moved to Bristol I was sceptical of what Bristol had to offer but the answer is simply everything you could ask for. The main shopping area in Bristol is now Cabot Circus, a purpose built shopping complex and redevelopment of the local area. It recently opened at the beginning of September and is now thriving. Cabot Circus is home to many many exclusive and luxury brand from Harvey Nichols to Links of London to Ted baker and beyond. The layout of Cabot Circus can be a little confusing, its is split onto 4 floors but you can enter on the ground floor or the first floor. It is still very clean and fresh with great facilities for disabled and mother and baby. The tope floor is mainly restaurants and a Showcase Deluxe Cinema - quiet simply Cabot Circus has it all. As if that wasn't enough, a five minute walk from Cabot Circus brings you to the old town centre, sporting many large well founded stores such as M&S, Boots and BHS with a few boutique type shops thrown in for good measure. I would class the town centre as more High Street stores than Cabot Circus and if you walk further out towards the outskirts of town there are even more specialist shops, for example a Polish Market, a fabulous herbal Tea shop and many many more. If you couple all these areas together Bristol City Centre has everything you could possibly need.
Summary: Fantastic shopping area.
