Advantages: Easily accessible, plenty to do.

Disadvantages: It all involves money one way or another.

Forgive the relative shortness - it's been a busy day, and it's hardly the most amazing of experiences to write about!

The Trafford centre celebrated it's 10th Birthdays in 2008 and now more than ever, truly does have something to cater for everybody be it shopping, entertainment, something for the kids or eating out. Unlike most dull imdoor shopping malls, there are endless sculptures and intersting architecture to look at. The spectacular Dome, the decks of an ocean liner in The Orient, the dolphin fountain and grand statues.

Easily accessible from the M60 at junctions 9 and 10, the Trafford Centre has 10,000 car parking spaces and even provides free AA breakdown service to anybody that breaks down in one of their car parks. The Trafford Centre has a regular shuttle bus service that operates 363 days a year that operates to and from nearby Stretford Metro link.

Its offers a fantastic shopping experience ranging from high street names such as M&S and Debenhams and also find designer brands available such as Prada, D&G, Ben De Lisi and Chloe to name but a few so something for every pocket! If shopping's not your thing, don't panic! there's still lots to do. There's a huge variety of places to eat, from fast food outlets, to family friendly places such as TGI Fridays and Pizza Express to YO! Sushi! For the more adventurous. Or take a stroll down the "New Orleans" themed street line with cafes and restaraunts and life size bronze statues

Ladies..and gents, if pampering is more your bag, how about a visit to the Elemis Spa within Selfridges; or perhaps a visit to the 20 screen Odeon located in The Orient or a game of Laser Quest maybe!?

Overall, we definitely thought it was well worth a day out as it was easy to navigate around even with a pram, had plenty to offer us and with late opening, til 10pm on weekdays, will be going back again soon.

Summary: A better shopping mall than most.
