There seems to be a status symbol amongst mancunians that the cooler they are, the less likely they admit to having been to, or like the Trafford Centre.
I Say, give it a chance. Most of the time it is very easy to get in or out of , with masses of free parking and a small bus depot.
The shops serve a variety of needs, ranging from the exclusive Selfredges store, down to run of the mill high street chains like BHS or New Look.
Its not too big or daunting a place to get used to, and is hard to get lost in.
The orient smells of DisneyWorld with its ocean Liner facade and fast food outlets and bars.
The cinema is great, all the screens are large and have most up to date sound systems.
Like it or Hate it you must give it a chance and see for yourself the grand scale to which it was designed
