It is close to the funkily spelt town of Guzelyurt, I visited it about 4 years ago when I was hitchhiking around Turkey, I hadn t planned to go there but we were riding in a car when we came to a police checkpoint and after a small discussion between driver and the police, the police decided to flag down the next car and told them to take us where ever they were going! ... York is packed with sights and attractions to keep anyone busy during a stay there. The first thing I would recommend you to buy on a trip to New York is the New York Visitor Pass. This can be purchased from most of the attractions and is available as a 1 day, 2 day. 3 day or seven day pass. I would recommend going for the 2 day pass minimum as there is a lot to get around and this gives you time to see everything you have a free entry into. The way the pass works is that you pay one fee ($89 for a 2 day adult pass) and you get free entry then to over 40 attractions. Perhaps more interesting to read about than visit it is still worth dropping by just to get a feel for the place.
