... can remember the first time I ever saw this sign it was 14 years ago and I was really dissapointed with what I saw. I was shocked to see it was really in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip with nothing around it. There was really no way to get close to it to take any pictures. You could run across the street fearing being run down by a fast moving car to get a good picture. I never did get my picture taken next ... M&Ms World (Las Vegas) ... daughter loves this candy its her favorite. Or should I say her one of many favorites. We have to make a visit to this little store of expensive treats. Thats right folks the prices are enough to make you have a heart attack. The first time we stepped into this store I was overwhelmed as it was very close quarters and I felt a little squished with all the people and the displays so close to one another. There was after all so much that needed to be displayed. 4 floors in fact. As we made our way up the floors on the esculator the throngs of people going up and down were amazing. Walk of Fame ... always thought of the walk of fame as where the true stars of entertainment are immortalised and honored for their achievements. In actuality, i m pretty sure anyone vaguely famous can have one. Cilla Black has one for christ s sake and i didn t recognise most of the other names either. Apparently there are about 2500 stars on show. That s a lot of stars, and they go EVERYWHERE, down obscure back alleys, deserted avenues and so on. Hollywood is not a clean city in any shape or form, and these stars do nothing to add any glamour or glitz. They just make it even tackier. Cu Chi Tunnels (Vietnam) ... Chi Tunnels. The Chu Chi tunnels are an amazing collection of tunnels just outside Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) stretching about 75 miles long that were part of a network of tunnels that went all over Vietnam. They were built and used by the Vietcong who were guerrillas fighting the war against the Americans and they were very successful in concealing themselves in the tunnels. They used to stay in the tunnels during the day time and come out at night to scavenge for food, to sabotage buildings and to fight the Americans and thwart their campaign.
