We booked a coach and a hotel from our hostel in Bangkok to Cambodia Siam Reap near Ankor Wat. It coast around £16 to take us there and for one night at the hotel. I spent quite a bit of time in Cambodia, as part of my job, and I absolutely loved the country. My favourite part of Cambodia, by far, was Angkor. When I went back in '99 it was all backpackers. Now theres far too many american and japanese tourists I found on March 2002 visit. It used to be quite a backpackers community. This has really impacted on local people who cant afford the rising land prices and increases the gap between the rich and poor that is very evident in Cambodia. ... Read the complete review
