beckyX Coronet Peak Tandems (Queenstown, New Zealand): ... my recent holiday to New Zealand, I decided to try a variety of adventurous and adrenaline sports. I started off with the fairly easy and accessible ones and worked up to the scarier ones. By the time I finished my holiday, in Queenstown, I had a spare day before I left and was ready to try something a little bit more "hardcore". I asked around for what was particularly fun to try and heard that the Coro...

SaveMeTheMoney Skydive Lake Taupo - Freefall
... next installment of my adrenaline activities! While in New Zealand, I really wanted to do a sky dive (surprising after all, this was after I had thrown myself off a bridge tied only to an elastic band - see my previous review). Here, unlike home in Belfast, you would be jumping out over beautiful scenary in great weather and all would be well with the world. So when I was in Lake Taupo which is up kind of in the middle of the North Island I deceided that I would do. Also, having researched sky diving in New Zealand, I discovered that this was the cheapest place in the country to do it. The price for a tandem skydive is now $339 to jump from 15,000 feet (3,000 fee...

SaveMeTheMoney AJ Hackett Bungy Jump, Kawarau Bridge (New Zealand)
... a few years ago when I was travelling I worked for a time in Queenstown in New Zealand. Queenstown is known as something of an adrenaline town, with lots of adrenaline activites to do. It was all kind of kicked off by the world s first commercial bungy site at Kawarau Bridge near Queenstown which opened in 1988. When approaching Queenstown from the north you pass this on the road. The bungy at Kawarau bridge is by no means even close to being one of the biggest in the world, but it was the first. And I can testify, it is still pretty nerve racking. The bungy jump is operated by a company called AJ Hackett, named after the New Zealand man who popularised bungy j...

jaygami1986 Darling Harbour
... on my travels in Sydney one cannot forget to visit the iconic Darling Harbour, which is located on the western outskirts of the business district. The Harbour has been around since the late 1800 s and is a great place for tourist s to come and visit. The Harbour has a breathtaking view of the city and the surrounding areas; it s also packed with dozens of shops, and entertainment facilities. Allowing tourists to really get a feel for the city, its people and the lifestyle. A friend who lives in the area took me to visit the Harbour during a sunny summers day, now considering everyday is most likely going to be sunny this is a bonus, as there are a number of cafes...
