One thing that many visitors to Turkey want to do is have a Turkish bath, and Istanbul has quite a few baths, called hamami, to offer. However, if you're not interested in actually having a Turkish bath, perhaps because you don't want to inflict your body on strangers or because you don’t have any interest in being pummelled by a member of the same sex, you might still be interested in seeing the inside of a hamam. If this is the case, then the Baths of Roxelana provide an ideal tourist attraction.
