Wonderful relaxing trip around Paris (Batobus)

Used this boat-bus when in Paris at the start of the month. Think it was 36 euros for 2 adults and 2 children for a day pass. We wanted to buy a pass just from the Eiffel Tower to the Lourve but the man at the desk said they only do day passes. The reason we decided to do this is it was a good way of seeing some of the main sites of Paris and cheaper than the open top bus! It was so hot the day we used it we also just wanted to sit down and rest for a while!

They came every 15-20 mins and there was a fairly big queue at the Eiffel Tower stop but we managed to get on the third boat/bus. The trip from the tower to Lourve was just over an hour it was the 6th stop so we got to see everything apart from Champs Elysees. Going past Notre Dame was a lovely experience and you had over 5 mins to take it all in as the boat goes fairly slowly.

You can get on and off at any stop all day long and our intention was to go back on the boat for the lights around 9pm but we decided against this later in the evening.

I would recommend this for anyone wanting to have a relaxing look at the sites of Paris and hands down beat rushing around on the "tube" or the open top bus. However the open top did have a lot more stops so for a more full on tour the boat is probabally not for you.

Also be aware if you are going in the height of Summer like I did, the boats have a glass side and roof so be careful where you choose to sit as one side was much hotter than the other! It does have a small section to stand at the back which was nice and breezy! Also check the timetable as I dont think they come every 15 mins out of the high season.

Summary: Great experience, reasonable price
