For any visiter to Barcelona which wonders past this building will question: Should I go in? The ticket price of E16.50 seemed daunting to me, but the guide book said that is was one of the best places to observe Gaudi's work. So we stood inline to get in. The ticket line went down quickly and we stepped past the gaurd into the cool of the entrace hall. There you are given a hand held audio device (at no extra cost) to guide you round the house. Most years my husband has to work on Christmas day and through most of the Christmas period. Whilst this is the perfect reason to turn down all invitations to spend Christmas with family, it's not the greatest way to celebrate the big day with a 14 hour shift.
