Lou Lim Ioc Gardens in Macau China It was built by a wealthy merchant Lou Kau. Before the government bought the property in 1974, it was the private property of the Lou's family. It was the Soochow style garden. A nine-turn bridge zigzags across the lotus pond to a large pavilion combining Classical Chinese architecture elements.
