Lou Lim Ioc Gardens in Macau China It was built by a wealthy merchant Lou Kau. Before the government bought the property in 1974, it was the private property of the Lou's family. It was the Soochow style garden. A nine-turn bridge zigzags across the lotus pond to a large pavilion combining Classical Chinese architecture elements. There are many rock mountains, bamboo trees and seasonal flowers. Occasionally you will find locals practising the Chinese Music Instrument performance and Chinese Opera Music in the pavilion.
