Many people may disagree but I will still assert that the majority of British 'tourists' fly off some warm for 2 weeks and will sit on a beach the whole time, go to British bars and speak English in a funny accent when trying to communicate to the local population. Yes I am stereotyping, bad boy, but this is usually what I see. It makes me sad and slightly ashamed that we don't appreciate the opportunity we get to briefly enjoy another countries culture. I now feel the need to avoid the British when on holiday and again that's a sad thing but a fact. I tend to avoid the bigger, well served British tourist draws though I do love Barcelona.
