Many people may disagree but I will still assert that the majority of British 'tourists' fly off some warm for 2 weeks and will sit on a beach the whole time, go to British bars and speak English in a funny accent when trying to communicate to the local population. Yes I am stereotyping, bad boy, but this is usually what I see. It makes me sad and slightly ashamed that we don't appreciate the opportunity we get to briefly enjoy another countries culture.
