Before the first world exhibition the area was completely transformed: The garbage was removed, the river received a new bed, the sumps was drying-put and sewers built. Newest Review: ... stadium. Arthur Ashe Stadium features 22,547 individual seats, 90 luxury suites, five restaurants and a two-level players' lounge. It is truly spectacular! We were lucky to see the round 4 which involved Federra and Hewitt. Play started at around 1pm. We opted for the cheap seats at the back making it extremely uncomfortable with the sun beaming down, (although we were given a paper fan!) ... more ... also making it difficult to see the players and even the ball at times!
