One to combine with other sights (Dolina Sluzewiecka (Warsaw, Poland))
Member Name: dangaroo
Advantages: A nice glimpse at the Mokotow and Ursynow regions Disadvantages: Can't really compare it to the parks in the centre or eastern district.
Dolina Sluzewiecka which translates to Sluzew Valley is part of a 2.4km green belt of water and park, unfortunately a dual-carriageway runs relatively close to it so it is far from secluded. Located in a residential area, it gives a tourist a good view of day to day life and "park life" at the same time in Warsaw's southern districts of Mokotow and Ursynow whilst at the same time connecting the likes of "Krolikarnia" (also reviewed) and "Fort Sluzewiec" (likewise) as well as the metro line. Not so long ago this valley was part of countryside but due to the spurt in growth of the cities southern regions, it's very much urban these days. Summary: Could be relaxing in the summer |
