***Background*** At the end of my last review my hubby and I were just finishing off a wonderful day looking at the attractions down Badwater Road and seeing a gorgeous sunset at Artist's Palette. After a restful night's sleep at the Motel 6 in Beatty and a filling breakfast at the neighbouring Stagecoach Casino we were ready to finish our exploration of the Furnace Creek area and head on to Las Vegas. We had planned our route in advance as the attractions I am about to describe were all on Route 190 on the way to Pahrump and then Vegas.
