Most peoples perception of Hollywood is glitz and glamour, full of movie stars and sunshine. So you would think that Hollywood Boulevard would reflect this, well you couldn't be more wrong. Apart from the Hollywood and Highland complex which houses stores like The Gap and Mann's Chinese thearter the rest of the street is very disappointing. The street is lined with tacky souvenir shops, sex shops and clothing stores which seem to be having closing down sales at 50% off since they opened and yet still aren't any cheaper than anywhere else.

It is definitely worth a visit just to see what this place is like, although some parts of the street seem a little dangerous late at night and women should probably not walk alone, among one reason being that they may get mistaken for a hooker. The stars names on the floor are quite interesting but some of the places they are located aren't very respective of the stars talents and reputation.
