Advantages: Everything
Disadvantages: Nothing
We were walking down the Vegas strip when we saw a lady with a yellow bag saying M & Ms world. I got Dave to ask her where she had been and she told us it was over the other side of the strip and if we carried on walking we would find it. Well we found it and it was great. Not what I thought but still great. Here is why.
M & Ms world is not a factory tour or somewhere that you have to pay to enter, but it is a shop full of yummy M & Ms. It is located on the strip just down from the Hard Rock and MGM Grand if I remember correctly. Right in the centre of the strip which is a great location as it means if you are walking up and down you will not miss it.
From the outside you see massive M & Ms on a building and due to the vivid yellows and reds you cannot really miss it. Outside we also where we found an M & M so we had our picture taken with him.
Now M & Ms world is a shop and when I say shop it is no ordinary shop but it is 4 floors of the delicious chocolate. 1 floor is also very big and a shop all in itself so as you can imagine there is everything M & M branded you could possibly find here. There is a lift to take you up to all floors and there are stairs and escalators too.
Ok so there is a part in here which shows how M & Ms is made but it is very small. It is nice though as it is done in a fun way and has some of the machines showing you how to do it. You walk through it and it takes about 5 minutes if you are reading everything. I think this was in the corner of the second floor and it was signposted in the store so you could find it.
There is also a car on the top floor which is covered in M & Ms. Cue a model pose from me on the car and we left this. To say there is a car in the shop on one floor though does give you an idea of the sheer size of each floor. The car wasn't even a major feature it was tucked up in the corner which we found as we were looking around.
Ok so the shopping experience is great. I had my picture taken in front of huge plastic tubes full of different M & Ms ordered in colour. I was tempted to fill a bag of these but as I had already eaten a lot of chocolate that day I didn't get them. What I did get though was on offer that was 12 bags of chocolate for $2 which is so cheap so I did get these which lasted me a few days lol.
You can also get M & Ms dispensers, pencil cases and other stationary things. There is a huge section for children just to warn you as I can imagine if you take them by it you will be spending quite a bit of money. They have cuddly toys and all sorts.
The prices in the shop were not that bad and you can get souvenirs and all sorts. It ranges from about $1 - 100 so for all prices. We didn't buy that much to be honest as money issues but there is plenty to be had. They do great things like peanut butter M & Ms and Almond M & Ms and also strawberry peanut butter M & Ms which were very nice. We spent about half hour looking through each floor so you can get round it quite quickly.
In conclusion I think M & Ms world is great. I thought it would be a factory and we would have to pay to get in but it is a shop and free! Well worth a look around and especially if you want to get some unique ideas for gifts. Because of where it is on the strip you will be able to find it if you are in Vegas. I do believe they have one in New York too.
Thanks for reading.
xxx
