Newest Review: ... things about it. I was not disappointed. There aren't really any big settlements near the reef. Ningaloo is tiny as is Exmouth. The area is very much unspoilt. The beauty of this reef is it does not require a boat journey to enjoy it. You can simply wander down the beach with your snorkel and you're there! The variety of marine life I saw here was much more vast that I saw at the GBR and the colours much more vivid too. Ningaloo Reef is found between Exmouth and Coral Bay towards the North of Australia's West coast. Having already visited the Great Barrier Reef a couple of times I was very keen to check out Ningaloo Reef as I had heard fantastic things about it. I was not disappointed. There aren't really any big settlements near the reef. Ningaloo is tiny as is Exmouth. The area is very much unspoilt. The beauty of this reef is it does not require a boat journey to enjoy it.
