The Owia Salt Pond can be found on the North Eastern Coast of St Vincent. The ponds are located just through the traditional Carib village of Owia, which is a couple of hours drive from George town. Despite being such a small island it seems to take forever to get anywhere in St Vincent, but then I guess this is down to the mountainous profile of the island and the rough dirt tracks that replace tarmac roads once you get in the more "out of the way" and remote parts of the island.
