There were many things we wanted to see and do during our recent trip to Amsterdam, and going on a canal boat cruise was one of them. Amsterdam is a city of canals - the city centre is ringed by them, and you can't go far without coming across a canal. They are very peaceful, ideal for an evening stroll. We looked at a few different cruise operators, but weren't too bothered which we chose. In the end we picked one which we passed on the way somewhere else, deciding we would come back to it later that day. The company was Reederij P.
