San Marco

Description: Piazza San Marco / The Convent was mentioned as early as the 12th century. in 1437 Cosino the Elder commissioned Michelozzo to rebuild it and the convent of San Marco was therefore the first to be built in the elegant terse forms of the Renaissance.
