Beaune Sights & Attractions in general ... in 1442 by Nicolas Rolin, chancellor of the Duke of Burgundy, and his wife, the Hospices are a charity running hospitals and other services for the needy. Following from past donations, they own vineyards in Burgundy. The area around Beaune, the Côte de Beaune, is known for its Burgundy wines, and Beaune is known for its annual wine sales organized by the Hospices de Beaune. It is situated on the route des Grands Crus touristic road among the vineyards.

Whilst visiting relatives in Stourbridge, we decided to have a day out at the West Midland Safari & Leisure Park. I didn't really know what to expect, some kind of little zoo if I am honest, so the first thing that struck me on arrival was the sheer size of the place, as it covered nearly 200 acres. It is located just outside Worcester in a place called Bewdley, but in the blink of an eye I felt like I was on the set of Jurassic Park. As we went away earlier in the year, we did not have our usual summer holiday away from home this year and instead we went out on day trips. During our week off we visited loads of places including Marwell Zoo which I have chosen to be the subject of this opinion. Marwell Zoo is a large zoo which is located at Colden Common, near Winchester in Hampshire. The Zoo was founded in 1972 by John Knowles, a conservationist, and is owned by Marwell Preservation Trust.
