Advantages: Many free attractions
Disadvantages: long queues sometimes
If you have a holiday planned for LasVegas then write these places down, they will be the highlight of your holiday. 1. The Stratosphere - Like the Eiffel tower but with better scenery. 2. Freemont Street experience - Awesome downtown light show. 3. Binions Horseshoe Poker room - Home of the World Series of Poker. 4. Bellagio Fountains - 30 storey high fountains dance to music. 5. Mirage Volcano - Massive articfical volcano outside the hotel. 6. Forum shops at Caesars Palace - The original luxury hotel in Vegas. 7. The Orleans poker room - essential if you are a poker player. 8. The o2 bar - what drink would you like with your oxygen? 9. Paris, Las Vegas - All the sights of Paris without being surrounded by the French! 10. Mandalay Bay pool - an ocean, beach and waves in the middle of the desert. 11. Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo - Best magician in the world. 12. Manhattan Express - NY/NY Hotel's rollercoaster. 13. Gondolas at the Venetian - Better than Venice, honestly. 14. Treasure Island Pirate Battle - Free show outside the hotel. 15. Limo up the Strip - $55, best at night. And remember that if you are an important guest the hotel will provide limos for you whenever you need one. Many of the above attractions are free and those that are not are relativly cheap, I have not included the SIegfried and Roy show as I do not believe it provides good value for money compared to the rest on the list, it is possible to obtain free tickets to this show if you play enough at the Mirage but when I qualify for one I try and sell it on instead. Another show that I recently saw and deserves mention is 'O' at the Bellagio.

- 27/07/01 Sorry for the SU - it sounds like you really know your stuff, but I would like to see actual opinions (just a sentence or two) on some of these attractions and what makes them worth seeing, rather than just a list of what they are.
If you add anything to the op, please email me (address on my profile), and I'll come back. |
