Two years ago I visited Milan towards the end of the summer. Obviously the weather was brilliant, and therefore had the foundations of a great holiday. In the daytime, Milan has a lot to offer, with boutique shops on offer in the older part of ther town, and the cathedral, Il Duomo, which acts as the central hub for most visitors in the daytime. It is truly a pleasant place to visit, and it is easy to get around with trams available, and travelling on foot of course, which may be tiring, but it gives you the opportunity to pad out your holiday as there are not too many attractions in total. Recommend to potential buyers: yes I have just returned from visiting my brother in Milan ,it was my forst trip over there and I really did enjoy it. What a lovely city. It is Italy's Cultural ,Industrial and Financial Centre.The capital of the north of Italy [Lombardia}. Also is one of the main fashion centres in the world and you can see why when you walk down the main shopping areas and see all the Designer Shops. I visited the Catherdral-The Duomo which has more than 2,000 sculptures ,numberless spires and capitals. This is a must to visit when you visit Milan.
