Sights & Attractions in Orlando in generalNewest Review: ... Patties which is basically like a toasted sandwich with a great burger inside. I can also recommend the Ponderosa - Now, I will admit that it has been some time since I've eaten there. But the last time I ate there they were offering a Buffet Breakfast for something like $4.99 and you could literally eat as much as you liked, you could go up time and time again - They had the usual bacon/eggs/toasts/etc along with fruit, cereal and Muffins. THEME PARKS SeaWorld - I've done a more detailed Review of this elsewhere on this Site. However, I cannot recommend SeaWorld more, it's wonderful for both children and adults alike. I can particul... more |

I have been to Orlando so many times that it feels like home - In fact it was home for 4 months at one point. If you're looking for a rest then don't bother going to Orlando - It's mainly about going out and about and having loads of fun!! PLACES TO STAY I usually stay in Youth Hostels so I'm afraid I can only recommend the one just off West Irlo Bronson Highway - But Kissimmee is a great place to stay as it's just outside the main Orlando Traffic but still close enough to all of the Parks. International Drive is a wonderful place to stay, especially if you are more interested in SeaWorld and Universal than Disney. If you're ... Read the complete review

We stayed on international drive. I would get a guide book of all the attractions before you go so you can sort out what you want to do as there are so many you could miss something Also you can usually prebook your tickets before you go which works out a little cheaper but I didnt bother as we werent sure what was happening apart from a couple of days We spent a full day at universal which is the best theme park with great rides did this the same day as the island of adventure you should really try ad spend a day in each as there is so much to do We got discount timeshare tickes so it was really cheap to go If you do go here buy a fastpass ticket ... A holiday in Orlando is not going to be restful. There is so much to do you will have to try and squeeze it all in! You don’t want to be going all the way over there then not do everything. These are the main attractions in Orlando, I’m sure there are loads more but I don’t want to be sitting here typing all week!! DISNEYWORLD Had to put this one first, it’s the first thing you think of when you say Orlando! Disneyworld is split into four main parts; Magic Kingdom The original park in Disneyworld. Although adults will definitely enjoy Magic Kingdom most of the rides are definitely for kids. We still go on them ... Read the complete review

I think this theme park is great. Just hours of slipping & sliding, ducking & diving. The park is centred around a big swimming pool. You actually walk into the shallow end, you don't have to jump in or climb down a slippery ladder. It soon gets deep and after a certain point, they have a red line where they suggest only strong swimmers should go. Every once in a while they turn on a wave machine and the pool almost becomes like the sea. I have to say that the waves at Typhoon Lagoon are better. But the pool isn't everything. Around the pool are lots of different slides. ~MACH 5~ Here you can choose from 3 runs and you use a mat ... Read the complete review

Don't go there without reading these tips it really will help you to get the most from your stay. This is my personal assessment of the theme parks and attractions in Orlando,Florida, U.S.A. After a long time of wanting and waiting (personally l have wantedto go to America for 24 years) we were lucky enough to go there in November 2000. It was brilliant on the whole and we all had a great time. We stayed at the Disney All Star Movies resort and on the whole it was good, with hindsight l feel that it is quite unnecessary to pay the extra that is involved to do this as it is really immaterial where you stay because it is just a room and you are so exhausted ...
