Advantages: Endless options, something for everyone
Disadvantages: None
Paris is full of endless opportunities for all, whether it be alone, with friends, family, or a loved one and there are numerous options available.
One's trip to Paris will certainly be memorable!
There are many ways one can view and explore Paris, either on or off a budget. Whether you wish to eat or simply have picnics, which I enjoy just as much.
There are endless sights and attractions to see, here are some I recommend:
The Eiffel Tower - Unique
The Louvre - A magnificent building that has great architecture and masterful works of art inside.
Musee D'Orsay - Beautiful artworks inside
Notre Dame - One of the most beautiful gothic cathedrals I have seen.
Sacre Coeur - A beautiful church
Moulin Rouge - If you have the money go for a show or some dinner!
Buttes Chamont Park - Eastern Paris, a gorgeous park with a lake, waterfalls, bridges, rocks. At times you forget your in Paris! (Free)
Pere Lachaise Cemetry - Eastern Paris, One of the most beautiful and inspiring cemetries I have seen! (Free)
Montmartre Cemetry - West Paris, Beautiful graves and statues with an interesting atmosphere. (Free)
Other places to visit include the Seine river, where it is beautiful both in the daytime and in the night and is delightful just to walk along. There is also the option of taking a river cruise, at day or night, with or without lunch/dinner.
There is also the Disneyland Paris which is just outside the center, which is enjoyable for both children and adults. Worth a visit if you have the time and money.
If you are a fan of shopping then there are several areas which may suit one's fancy. There's the well known Champs Elysee, Galaries Lafayette and plenty of little boutique shops dotted around.
Several of the areas in Paris are sights in themselves. Even I found the Metro system to be quite enjoyable.
Overall there is an endless list of options for one's visit. Often the most enjoyable things cost least.
Summary: Paris has something for everyone!
