If you are going in to San Francisco you may only want to go for a long weekend say for about four to five days, any longer you will run out of sites and attractions to see.

The main attraction you will automatically see is the Golden Gate Bridge, it is not painted gold but painted red, it is called the Golden Gate Bridge because the local area is called Golden Gate.

Other places of interest are China Town where at the entrance there is. There are lots of different places to eat and you can buy most Chinese items, you can also buy Chinese herbs and foods!

You may also want to visit the most crooked street in the world called Lombard Street. You can drive down it at 5mph, but also you can walk down the side of the street.

Pier 39 is home to see-lions, which first arrived 1989, after an earthquake. They are very loud and there are lots of them.

If you like skyscrapers you will love the Bank of America Building, which you can visit the 52d floor of and have a drink in the cocktail lounge but after 4pm you are not allowed to wear short. This would have to be one of the best view spots around San Francisco!

A few other sites to see are Alcatraz, the worlds best know prison if you are, hoping to go over there you will want to book in advance, queue will be long.

One thing you will see quite early on your trip is he cable cars. If you what to get places this one of the bet tourist attractions to get there on, arriving early in the morning may get you a good places in the queue or long waiting times are definite.

San Francisco has a wide range of shops to go to and lots of wonderful restaurants to eat in.
