Advantages: A great place for all kinds of holidays

Vancover is a great place for everyone. With a great variety of attractions and places to go sight-seeing, there is something for everyone.

For those who like to shop on their hols there are many great areas to do so. For souvenirs and gifts, Downtown Vancouver and especially Gastown are the perfect places. However if you are after more serious shopping, then Robson Street, Park Royal (2 malls and a shopping village) and Metro Town (similar to Park Royal) are the ideal places.

But if it isn't shopping that you are after, Vancouver will have what you are. For those who like to go sight-seeing, then Grouse Mountain, Lynn Valley and Capilano Suspensiopn Bridge (only to name a few) are the perfect places. Watch Lumberjack shows and Birds of Prey Exhibitions, as well as do woodland walks and see Grizzly Bears and Wolves!

Grouse Mountain, along with Cypress and Whistler, are great for skiing and snow-boarding for those winter holidays. Chose for the skiing area for the 2010 Winter Olympics, Whistler offers the winter tourist everything they need. Great restaurants and shops are provided along with some stunning scenery.

Yet of all the great attractions and provincial parks in the Vancouver area, none draw more people than the scenery itself. The reason for the phrase "Beautiful British Columbia" which is written on every licence plate in British Columbia (BC) is apparent the moment you arrive. Muntains and forests, along with the islands in the Howe Sound, make this one of the few places that can be called paradise.

Vancouver also offers great sporting facilities, from cycling casually or skating through Stanley Park, hiking up to the Lions, water-skiing, wake-boarding, mountian biking and boating in general are all offered at many different locations.

So whatever you are after, Vancouver has it!
