***Background*** When I last left you all, my new husband and I were driving southeast, adjacent to Kings Canyon and the Sequoia National Park into the outskirts of Death Valley. I have decided to split my Death Valley review in two parts because I feel that both areas of Stovepipe Wells and Furnace Creek have so much to offer that it's just too much for one combined review and it gives readers an idea of how to plan their visit.
