Wimpole Hall ... Hall is a National Trust property located about 8 miles south-west of Cambridge. It is a stately home with extensive grounds, and has various cafes and restaurants, formal gardens and a farm. The grounds are open all year round in daylight hours, but check on the website if you want to visit any of the other attractions there - the hall is closed over the winter months and the farm and gardens have shorter opening hours (often restricted to weekends) too. ===The Hall=== The hall itself dates originally to the 17th Century and is according to the guide I spoke to is the largest house in Cambridgeshire. It s the jewel of the football memorabilia world s crown - described as th... Read the full review: Not Just For Wannabe Footballers by dkm1981 |

I have only ever experienced the Manchester markets and, to be honest, these are exactly the same just on a smaller scale, which is not a bad thing. The narrow alleys between the stalls were packed with evening crowds, most of them holding steaming hotdogs or mugs of hot drinks and the occasional donut. If i were to sum up these markets quite simply it would say they are tempting . They sell a lot of cool toys and knicknacks, but at quite expensive prices, which also goes for some of the sweet stores. There was a gingerbread house about the size of a bird house on sale for £70! Who the hell is gon... Read the full review: Leeds Christmas Markets by TheWeaver |
