What does Type of Attraction does Great Yarmouth have?
Great Yarmouth one of the Uk's major seaside town but what has Great Yarmouth to offer? What makes people come here time and time again?
Pleasure Beach - South on the Seafront is the Pleasure beach which is Fair for all ages. I must admit this isn't as good as it has been but the company is planning on some major works including a complex for all weathers which would give the town a great boost. The pleasure beach has many rides and the best it the wooden roller coaster. You can pay for rides by token or buy a wrist band.
Amazon World - This is a reptile house and includes snacks, spiders and has many talks and handling experiences which my children love. You will find this on the local seafront.
Sealife centre - This is situated on the seafront and houses lots of fish's and talks throughout the day. We visit a lot because the paper gives out free children's entries which come in very handy.
Model Village - I always love visiting here as i like the great detail in the mini little lands. Love the trains which run around the place.
Marina Centre - This is a sports complex and includes a swimming pool, bowling, fitness centre. This building also has a stage theate which is used for shows throughout the year.
Winter Gardens - This house an indoor play area for the children and a bar area for the adults to play in.
Cinema - This is located on the seafront and has 6 screens. The Cinema is called the Hollywood.
Amusements - Great Yarmouth has tons all lining the road, some are better than others but that's personal opinion.
Crazy Golf - The seafront has 3 outdoors crazy gold courses the Pirate one is the best but the most expensive. You will also find a Indoor crazy gold in the windmill located half way along the seafront.
Oasis Tower - Get a birds eye view of the town, look out for miles. My children love going up the tower, can get very busy.
Piers - Great Yarmouth has two main pier plus a fishing jetty. One of the piers is having major works but has a large amusements to keep to amused. The other Pier has a theate and hosts many big summer shows. The pier also has a mini fair at the end.
Joyland - This is a children's fair and has mini rides to keep them entertained. My two children are 8 and 11 and have out grown this now but i still find the tubs and snails fun.
Time and Tide - This is a museum all about the local area and its history.
Bingo - Find many of these attractions in town.
Horse racing - This is at the North end of the town and has many events throughout the year, mostly summer.
Yarmouth Stadium - Here you will find dog racing or banger racing depending on the evening.
Wax works - This is situated on regent road and has many famous wax figures for you to see.
As well as Great Yarmouth having many attractions for you to visit, the surrounding area also include fun things to do, local tourist guides are very helpful.
Summary: A great holiday or day out for all the family.
