Advantages: Lots of different things to see and do within tower

Disadvantages: long queues for tickets

Our visit to Blackpool Tower and circus is a fabulous day out for all the family. It costs £13.95 for adults and £10.95 for children although we used Tesco Clubcard vouchers to pay for our visit. Firstly I would recommend that you buy your tickets in advance either online or a few hours before you visit as the queues for tickets can get very long,
Once inside there is an aquarium with lots of different species of fish to look at. We then went up the Blackpool Tower itself which is quite an experience .You are taken up in groups by lift and the actual structure of the tower looks very rusty and rotten. At the top there is a glass plate you can walk across looking down directly to ground level...Scary. There is another higher level that can be reached by steps. Take your camera as the views are outstanding.
Then it was on to the tower circus, which lasts for about 2 hours with an interval for ice creams and drinks, which are reasonably priced, there are numerous acts and audience participation and it is really fun.
A great value day out but if high winds the tower itself is shut.

Summary: great day out for young or old
