Entertaining Day at Britain's most famous Tower (Blackpool Tower)

Advantages: Good Value for Money. Lots to see & do.

Disadvantages: Once you've seen & done them, not always as good next time

The most iconic tower in Britain is still a good day out for the family.

Let's start with the attractions:
The Tower Top Ride - You can ride to the top of the tower as many times as you like in daylight or darkness while in the tower. There is a section of floor made of glass called the walk of faith. Not for the faint of heart & get wonderful views of Blackpool.

Jungle Jims - Very large childrens play are with ball pools, slides, rope climbs & other apparatus. I have no children so I can't comment on whether todays kids enjoy it, but it was there when I was a kid & I loved it.

The Tower Circus - 1 admission to the circus is included with every persons ticket. I enjoy the Tower circus. It usualy comprises of different types of acts including Mooky the Clown, acrobats & trapeze artists. The show changes every year with different acts & is very entertaining. Get there early enough & you can sometimes get front row seats at no extra cost.

The Dinosaur 3D Cinema - Short film in which you travel back through time. Mildly entertaining & feel free to watch it if you have time although not a main draw & not as good as 3D films which are in Big Name amusement parks like Disney's for instance.

The Aquarium - A small aquarium with a variety of fish, turtles & other marine life. Located downstairs & the circus exits into it. Have a look around then but the Sealife Centre is better if you want to go in an aquarium.

Tower Ballroom - A world famous, highly ornate Ballroom which will play music throughout the day for the guests to dance too. Also sometimes has short shows by amateur dance groups which you can watch for free.

I think that if you have never been in the tower it is good value for money. However if you have been in before & possibly recently, with the exception of the circus, you may have seen all it has to offer.

Summary: You must do this once. Whether you do it again depends on what you thought.
