Advantages: Beautiful even on the worst of days.

Disadvantages: There really are none.

Botanic gardens is a beautifully situated garden very close to the centre of Belfast. It is very well kept and always looks wonderfull as every day when I walk past it on the way to and from work it appears pristeen and is always very relaxing to walk through after a bad day at work.

Botanic gardens is for everyone - when I was a young child my father used to take me through it on the way to church and the fresh air and beautiful surroundings really made me fall in love with Belfast - even if it was surrounded by terrorists.
Even now, after many years people will come and even spend their whole day at the gardens - lying on the grass, sunbathing, reading, socialising, going for a walk, pigging out on ice cream on the warm summery days and much more.

While you're there you could also visit the wonderful museum in the gardens or the tropical house - there really is something for everyone!
So if you are ever in Belfast be sure to visit the gardens!
