Having done prints at school as part of my GCSE art a few years ago, it was this time last year when I last visted cherryburn. It was really interesting to have a full explaination of how the prints used to be done by Bewick and to be able to see some of the prints taken from his original wood engravings. It's fascinating to imagine how long these prints used to take to complete, but also how long the engravings have lasted. Cherryburn is a place to visit no matter if what the weather is like!
