Advantages: a big site

Disadvantages: its can be busy, the tropical biodome can be overpowering with its heat

On the way to eden project it was well sign posted. As you arrive you park in an enormous car park. It's that big they provide you with a free bus to get to the entrance (try to remember which colour car park you are in when you arrive as you will need it on the way back). At the entrance you go through sort of ticket gates to get into the place.

Once outside you get a good view of the park and everyone stops here to take photos. You then make your way down the path towards the two big biodomes.

The first biodome we went into was meditrean and was comfortably warm but not over the top. The second biodome is tropical and the heat in this dome can be overpowering and you will find you sweat a lot. The main disadvantage to the domes was that they were so busy you couldnt really stop and look/study the different plants.

At the bottom of the entrance to the two biodomes is a biggish cafe although we didnt eat here so cant comment on it. There seemed to be enough toilets as we wasn't queuing when I went.

Outside there is some nice planting too so dont just do the domes have a look outside aswell. Just outside the domes is a sculpture which is made of recycled rubish such as washing machines, vacs and microwaves. This is really tall and original.
Further up the hill is a vegtable patch and a gardners hut where you can leave comments about what you grow at home.

A recent addition to the eden project is the educational centre. There is all sorts of information in this building. My mum loved the big massive acorn stone sculpture and was fascinated watching the video of how it was made and placed in eden.

There is a bridge next to the educational centre and this leads you towards the exit via theshop. The shop as you would expect sells plants and there was plenty of people buying these. It also sells a variety of other things too.

After the shop is the exit and from here we made our way back to the free bus which dropped us back to our car park.

Summary: average value for money
