Fell foot park in the lake district is owned and kept by the great people of the National trust. It is situated on the A592 between Bowness-on-windermere and Newby Bridge. The entrance to the park is a one way system and is controlled by speed humps into the pay and display car park, which has an overflow car park toward the exit of the park. Parking cost is between £2.50 for 2 hours and £6 per day. When you exit your car, and have placed your ticket on the window, you then walk down a steady slope, stoned pathway, down towards the western part of Lake Windermere, passing some of the most stunning colourful floral displays I have seen in a long ...
