Legoland WindsorNewest Review: ... I must say I have never seen queues this long at any other theme park i've visited; my husband and daughter queued for nearly 2 hours just to get on the log flume, which i thought was very excessive for such a tame ride. However the days we visited were blazing hot and it was the summer holidays so i guess this was to be expected. Also at most other theme parks the rides are aimed at all ages, but Legoland really only caters for children, which made it a bit of a boring experience for us adults! However my daughter absolutely loved it and didn't mind the queueing, though i think if she had been a couple of years younger this would have be... more |

My husband, 6 year old daughter and myself visited Legoland at the end of August 2007. We were camping near Maidenhead and used our tesco clubcard deals vouchers to visit the park two days running. In hindsight I see now that was a bit too much Lego for one person to handle! I was six months pregnant at the time so was unable to go on nearly all of the rides; however my husband and daughter did manage to get on most of them. ~~~ LEGOLAND Theme Park ~~~ Despite living less than an hour's drive from Legoland and the fact that it opened in 1996, I have to admit that I had never visited the place until July last year, when my wife and I took our 2 children there as a 9th birthday treat for our son and as a reward for our 6 year old daughter for managing to get a glowing school report that term (a feat which has yet to be repeated...). Why had we not visited before ? Well, mostly due to the admission price (more of that later) and partly because I had heard bad reports from colleagues who had been there a few years ago, shortly after the park opened. Anyway, if you have ... Read the complete review

What is it? It?s a large theme park built around the famous lego brick?s. ** Where is it? Lego land is very easy to find, it is well sign posted as soon you hit (not literally I hope) the M4 towards Slough. ** What are the parking facilities like? There is a huge car park and unlike a lot of theme parks, they don?t cram you in like sardines. If you buy the annual pass you are entitled to privilege parking. This means you can have a slot near the front. Even if you end up in the over flow, its not a marathon to the turnstiles and there are pavements leading you up to the front. There are also disabled parking bays available. ... Read the complete review

In the grounds of the former Windsor safari park and high up overlooking breathtaking Views of Windsor and even London on a bright day..stands LEGOLAND... Open from end of March until End of October As you approach LEGOLAND Which is easily accesible from either the M4 or the M3 you steadily climb and curve your way to the entrance..Lots of LEGO characters greet you as your arrive... There appears to be about 4 carparks and at least 2 of them are very close to the entrance, there is also a fee paying carpark(£5) which seems to be even closer, but on close inspection its not much difference at all! There is also special carpark for disabled ... Read the complete review

LEGO LAND During the bank holiday weekend, me and the wife and the little ones went to Lego land, from Newcastle. We arranged for a family saver card, which all in all came to around £150 for 2 adults and 2 children, which in my view was a bargain. When we arrived at Kings Cross we decided to look around London before going to the hotel. So we left our luggage, at the left luggage office instead of carrying heavy bags around all day. The cost was £5 per bag. So, we spent £20. Never again. Rather have a broken shoulder from the bags. Its is an extortionate amount of money. SO BEWARE. We arranged to stay at the Holiday Inn Heathrow for £116, as ... Read the complete review
